What are the benefits of a shampoo bar?

1. Water-saving Although you still need a considerable amount of water to lather up the shampoo, scrub and then rinse it out of your hair, the bar itself is not formulated with the same amount of water that gives its liquid counterpart its consistency. From production, shampoo bars are directly better for the planet.

How do you use a shampoo bar?

Once you have found the right shampoo bar for your curl type and texture, you can easily incorporate it into your wash day routine. If you have ever used a bar of soap on your body, then you know the drill.

Soak the hair with water. Water will help create the much-needed lather. So make sure your hair is completely submerged in water.

Wet the bar. It's not necessary to dip the bar in water, a light pass under the shower is sufficient.

Lather up. You can create some suds by rubbing the shampoo bar against each other in the palm of your hands or rubbing it directly on your hair. If you choose the latter, it can be helpful to lather in sections. This way the shampoo covers your hair thoroughly from root to tip and from front to back.

Let it work. In the same way you would give your hair a good shampoo with a liquid variant, you do the same with a bar.
