☝️ Fact:The scent was discovered during Jason's trip to China where the scent was used in a hotel as shampoo and in the lobby. Because this scent fits our brand so well, subtle, pure, and fresh, we knew this had to be our scent.
🏭 Production update
Sepawa Detergents fair
This month Ben and Jason attended the Sepawa fair for detergent manufacturers in Berlin. In the photo Ben, Jason and Geoffrey our Cellulose specialist producer. Found innovative ingredients and made connections for our new generation of detergents.
Lab tests
We have made small progress in our testing for PVA free wax strips. We now have to wait for the lab machines because the process is completely new and what we need is not available industrially.
The first step is a small lab machine to test the structure. We hope to receive them next week. We already have all the ingredients and can get started right away. The second step is a custom scale model that we have made so that we can scale up these tests with less risk. This machine is already being produced and will be shipped as soon as we have completed the formulation of the first step.
The third step is to test the scale model in the final formula, which gives us a good idea of the mass production machine. We hope to be able to make the first new generation of detergents in our production hall in Velsen-Noord in the second quarter.
Production hall
We learned today that the rental of the pile driving machine has been postponed due to the permit application from the municipality, which is taking longer than expected. We are now targeting March 2026 instead of February 2026. If we are lucky.
In order to reach the second quarter, we will place extra sea containers on the site to make room in our warehouse for the machines. The show must go on 😁
This will particularly affect the 7 machines that are coming for the production and filling of various products such as tablets and powders.
The scented bead filling machine is already on its way and we expect to have it operational at the end of November and hopefully the beginning of December.
