At Cosmeau, we believe that household, personal care, and wellbeing for animals and the environment go hand in hand. We're one of the few brands with our own production facilities and the ambition to produce almost all our products locally. Plus, we have a physical store in Haarlem and, with you, we're planning to open many more.

After strong traction in niche channels, we're taking the next step: growing in mainstream retail. Think supermarkets, drugstores, health retailers, and expanding our own retail presence. For this, we're looking for a commercial pro with a track record in category management or retail account development. We already have experience selling white label to supermarkets.

What will you do?

As a Business Developer Retail, you're the link between Cosmeau and major retail partners. You:
• Approaches, pitches, and closes partnerships with supermarket chains, drugstores, or retail cooperatives
• Sets up new retail channels and guides the entire onboarding process
• Brings assortment proposals, shelf-ready concepts, and action plans in line with category visions
• Works with data & category insights to back up commercial proposals
• Coordinates collaboration with purchasing, trade marketing, and logistics
• Helps set up and manage sales for our production branch

You are or were:

• (Former) Category Manager or Key Account Manager at a brand, retailer, or distributor in FMCG
• Connected with decision-makers at retailers like Albert Heijn, Etos, Jumbo, Kruidvat, DA, or D.I.O.
• Or a strong B2B profile
• Able to talk trends, margins, and turnover at the executive level
• Someone who spots opportunities for a strong and growing home & gifting brand(s)
• Entrepreneurial, strategic, and great with people
