This is not industry standard and difficult to know as a consumer. The end product may contain carcinogenic substances and this does not have to be indicated with the hazard symbol if it falls below a certain threshold value. We do not want such ingredients in our fragrances in our formulas, not even 0.001%. If you do not work directly with the fragrance houses at production level, this is almost impossible to verify, even for suppliers and brands.With us you know that this is good, because we work directly with the fragrance houses for all our made in Holland scents.
🏭 Production update: China trip for Machines Part 1
This month Ben and Jason traveled to China to view the machines. We have even brought forward the completion of the hall by a month, the expectation is now midFebruary 2026.
📸 In the first photo you see Ben and Jason on top of the filling machine for the scented pearls. We looked at several filling machines from different manufacturers and learned a lot about maintenance, assembly and operation. We also looked at machines for filling powder and liquid products, counting machines, sorting machines, packaging machines and the pressing machine for our cleaning tablets.
Our wish list is now quite long, we will be placing orders soon. If only you could ask Santa this, huh? 😬
📸 The second photo shows our suppliers of the scented bead machines. We did not order a new machine from them this year, but we did climb another mountain together. They have now become distant friends of ours, and together we climbed another beautiful peak.
📸 The last photo was taken in the lab of our wax strip manufacturer. We were given exclusive access to film and take photos. Unfortunately, the material no longer fits in this mailing, but it will appear in the next edition (hopefully next week!).
We are very busy, but there are so many wonderful things about to happen, it is all worth it! One load of laundry at a time, as we say 😀
