Will my makeup come off with these cotton pads?

Yes, due to the larger size it's even easier to remove your makeup. It's also suitable for sensitive skin because bamboo is super soft and naturally anti-bacterial.

Additionally, there are 4 (terry) cotton pads included for stubborn makeup. Our scrub pads are made with a more expensive process where the loops are smaller than competitors. This benefits you as they're less likely to snag, pill, and are more durable.

With the handy finger indentation, you can hold the cotton pads differently than regular pads. This gives you more surface area for makeup removal, allows better pressure application where needed, and no more dirty fingers. Spread your fingers in the indentation or use 3 fingers to apply enough pressure.

Does the makeup come off after washing?

Yes, you can wash the cotton pads at 40-60 degrees.

Are these suitable for sensitive areas like my eyelids and lips?

Absolutely. The daily pads in light cream are so soft they're suitable for sensitive areas. You only need two types of pads, soft cotton pads and scrub cotton pads for any stubborn makeup.

Well tested

We have now tested more than 30 different reusable makeup pads for 6 months, from 2-layer to 4-layer from 5 different manufacturers. With different combinations of bamboo, cotton, and polyester, stitching finish, edge thickness, loop size, and softness.

Our experience is that 8cm is the ideal size, not too large that it becomes unwieldy, and not too small to be effective. With 3-layer the pads better retain their shape. The stitching pattern ensures the pads don't slide over each other and function to remove makeup just a bit better.

What are points of attention?

We also find it important to highlight the disadvantages. First, it's not a 100% replacement for traditional cotton pads. For example, it's not suitable for removing nail polish. This remains on the pads. Furthermore, it absorbs slightly more lotion. In the e-book and email we have tips that help reduce this. The cotton pads may contain polyester. The advantages of this are longer lifespan, better makeup removal, and better washing out of makeup.
