For our store in Haarlem Centrum, we're looking for a motivated (Assistant) Store Manager. In this exciting role, you'll work with the team to achieve our commercial goals and deliver an amazing customer experience.

The Cosmeau Flagship Store is the first of its kind – a unique concept with special products. The store is built with recycled materials and gives visitors the chance to test, feel, and smell all the scents and products. Every detail is carefully designed and everything is of the highest quality.

You work in a beautifully lit store with a wide, inviting storefront. The latest systems support your work, while positivity and customer friendliness are at the heart of everything. It's a place where both customers and staff feel welcome and enjoy a special experience.

💪 What are you going to do?

As (Assistant) Store Manager, you are the right hand of the Store Manager (or you take on this role entirely). You have a wide range of tasks and combine operational responsibility with strategic insights. Your daily activities include, among other things:

• Leading and coaching the store team to hit those sales goals
• Make sure your store looks its best and offers a great shopping experience
• Analyzing sales results and making adjustments where needed
• Planning and organizing schedules and tasks within the team
• Taking care of inventory management, orders, and deliveries
• Handling administrative tasks like checkout processes and reporting
• (For Assistant Store Manager:) Supporting the Store Manager with all tasks and stepping in as a replacement when they're away

🧐 Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and results-driven leader who knows how to get things done. You also have:

• For Store Manager: At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in retail or a similar environment
• For Assistant Store Manager: Experience in a supervisory or supporting role in retail, with the ambition to grow further
• Excellent communication skills and an inspiring personality
• A warm welcome for every customer: People love coming to our store because our team is attentive, helpful, and friendly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Customer focus and a passion for sales
• Flexible working hours (including evenings and weekends)
  
• Optional: Affinity with our products is a plus, but not required

☝️ What's the process leading up to the store opening?

The renovation will be completed in March, and we’ll make sure you’re all set to get started:

• You'll kick things off with a one-time training at our headquarters in Velsen-Noord.
• Next, you'll get several training sessions on-site in Haarlem, together with your colleagues.

During these trainings, we'll cover:

• Role-playing games to gain hands-on experience
• Product info, so you can tell our customers everything about our products
• Customer focus and dealing with customers, for the best service
• Work with checkout systems for a smooth and easy payment experience

With these trainings, you'll be all set to get started in our store with total confidence!
