How does it work?
Our deep cleaning tablet works thanks to a carefully selected blend of ingredients, each playing its own special role. When it comes into contact with water, sodium percarbonate gets to work and releases hydrogen peroxide, which helps break down organic dirt. At the same time, sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate raise the pH, making it easier to dissolve grease and soap residues. Citric acid helps break down limescale, while surfactants loosen up dirt and stains. Extra helpers like zeolite and sodium silicate support this process and also protect your machine’s parts. This way, the inside of your washing machine gets a thorough clean and you prevent residue and limescale from building up again.

Does it work just as well as (natural) vinegar and baking soda?
Great question! Even if you use natural vinegar, a washing machine deep cleaning tablet is still the better choice. Here’s why:

1. Less effective against limescale: Natural vinegar does work on light limescale, but it's not as powerful as the citric acid and zeolite in a deep cleaning tablet.

2. No protection for the machine: A tablet contains sodium silicate, which protects metal parts from corrosion. Vinegar (even natural vinegar) is acidic and can eventually damage rubber seals and metal.

3. No deep cleaning: Vinegar doesn't remove grease, detergent residue, or bacteria. A tablet contains sodium percarbonate and surfactants that do the job.

4. No odor neutralization: Vinegar only masks odors temporarily, but a tablet actually neutralizes them thanks to sodium bicarbonate and sodium percarbonate.

5. Convenience and consistency: A tablet is super easy to use and always has the right amount for a perfect clean, while with vinegar you have to figure things out yourself.

I put a dishwasher tablet in the washing machine to deep clean it, is this a better alternative?

1. Special formula for washing machines: Our tablets contain ingredients specially designed to tackle grease, soap scum, limescale, and bacteria that are commonly found in washing machines. Dishwasher tablets are made for food residues, which require a completely different formula.

2. Protection of parts: Our formula contains sodium silicate, which protects machine parts from corrosion and wear. Dishwasher tablets sometimes contain enzymes, bleach, or chlorine compounds that can damage rubber and metal parts in washing machines.

3. pH value and effectiveness: The pH value of our tablets is optimized for the inside of a washing machine. Dishwasher tablets are often too harsh, which can cause damage in the long run.
