We develop our formulas and fragrances in the Netherlands. A growing part of our production and packaging takes place in Velsen-Noord; We also manage our storage there and do some of the logistics.

With our own filling and packing line, we make scent pearls in Velsen-Noord from start to finish. This keeps the entire process close to home and lets us make adjustments more quickly.

We manage our stock and warehousing in Velsen-Noord. We handle part of packing and shipping ourselves; for the rest of logistics we work with trusted partners in the Netherlands.
Our path to in-house production
Our mission takes shape by bringing more knowledge and processes in-house. Not in one leap, but demonstrably step by step.
We started with a five-machine laundry sheet line. Too complex as a first production line, but an important learning path.
We tested and adapted a twelve-metre scent pearl line for EU production. After that the machines came to the Netherlands.
The scented bead production ran on scale in our own factory in Velsen-Noord.
The new production hall was ready in June. We test next generations of detergents and continue to build more knowledge and technology in-house.
It's not just what's in the packaging that counts, but also who develops and makes it. With our own R&D and lab in the Netherlands, our own production machines and a growing part of production and packaging in Velsen-Noord, we keep knowledge close by. This way we can improve faster and keep quality at an accessible price.

We develop formulas and fragrances with a clear function, further expand our own production in the Netherlands and use that knowledge to keep quality affordable. We use part of what we build through product donations and other initiatives for people who need extra support.

From our factory and scents to warehousing and shipping: this is what you want to know before choosing Cosmeau.
We develop our products ourselves and produce a growing number at our own location in Velsen-Noord. For each product, we show as clearly as possible how and where it is made.
We have approximately 2,000 m² of factory and 2,500 m² of warehouse there. Product development, a growing part of our production, storage and part of packaging and shipping come together here.
Yes. We develop our unique fragrances ourselves within the EU and choose each raw material according to our own quality standards. There is also a variant without added perfume.
We not only assess the final scent, but each raw material used separately. We exclude substances that are considered hormone disruptors according to our quality standard. That is an extra quality choice; no medical guarantee.

Where possible, we opt for compact formulas, refillable or recyclable solutions and packaging with as little unnecessary material as possible. We explain the choice we have made for each product.
