Frequently Asked Questions

• Stains? Rub a piece of strip with water directly onto the stain for extra results
• Not suitable for wool and silk. For that, use Cosmeau Wool & Silk
• Not dissolving completely? This can happen if the drum is too full or not enough water is used. Make sure to leave a fist-sized space between your laundry and the top of the drum, or add the strips via the detergent drawer. Strips dissolve from 15 degrees Celsius.
• Not much scent? Wash at a lower temperature, 30-40 degrees, and hang to dry. Rub the laundry once it's dry for a subtle fragrance. Add scent boosters for a stronger scent.

Ingredients
Starch, sodium coco-sulfate, polyvinyl alcohol, trisodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, protease, isotridecanol ethoxylated, glycerol, cellulase, perfume. Allergens: Limonene in all scents except Lavender.

Starch
Acts as a binder and gives structure to the laundry strip. It helps keep the other ingredients together and can also serve as a filler. Plant-based and biodegradable.

Sodium Coco-Sulfate
A surfactant (surface-active agent) that helps loosen and remove dirt and grease. It gives the laundry product its cleaning power and foaming action. Derived from coconut oil and chemically processed (sulfated). Biodegradable.

Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA)
A water-soluble polymer that's often used as a carrier material for things like laundry strips. It keeps the ingredients together and dissolves during the wash. Biodegradable.

Trisodium Citrate
Acts as a 'builder' and water softener. It binds minerals in hard water, making the cleaning ingredients work more effectively. Biodegradable.

Citric Acid Monohydrate (Citric Acid)
Regulates pH levels and helps remove limescale. Works together with other ingredients to neutralize hard water and loosen stains. Biodegradable.

Protease
An enzyme that breaks down protein-based stains (like blood, egg, and milk). This makes it easier to remove these kinds of stains during the wash. Biodegradable.

Isotridecanol Ethoxylated
A non-ionic surfactant that dissolves and emulsifies grease and dirt. This boosts the overall cleaning power of the strip. Partially biodegradable.

Glycerol
Acts as a moisturizing and stabilizing agent. It keeps the laundry strips flexible and prevents them from drying out or breaking. Biodegradable.

Cellulase
An enzyme that cares for cellulose fibers by removing tiny fiber particles that can cause a dull haze. This keeps colors looking fresh for longer and makes your laundry look newer for longer. Biodegradable.

Perfume (Parfum)
Adds a pleasant scent. The exact fragrance and intensity may vary, but the goal is to make your laundry smell fresher. Biodegradability varies by scent and component.

Warnings
As with any detergent, keep out of reach of children. Use only with dry hands. Causes eye irritation. Causes skin irritation. If it gets in your eyes: rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present. Keep rinsing. If eye irritation persists: seek medical advice/assistance. Wash hands thoroughly after contact.
