About the Product

1+1 Megadeal 240 washes total!

New: Our 5th generation laundry strips are here! 🤩 We've worked hard to further improve the formula based on customer feedback. 5 Powerful enzymes that tackle stains and color. We asked on January 14th what your most common stains were with this result:

This formed the basis: we focused on better removing grass, mud and food stains. For this we used independent SGS tests. SGS is a globally leading testing, inspection and certification company.

Our own test facilities are (still) not at the level where we can reliably and consistently guarantee significant differences. SGS performs washes according to international standards (AISE standard), where textile cloths are stained, washed and measured under exactly the same conditions.

Sweat
Sweat is unfortunately difficult to standardize on textile cloths, so for that we enlisted our test panel - or rather you! Or more specifically: those among you with a family that can really sweat 😅. We're still in the middle of the process of testing, gathering feedback and improving. Thank you for your literally physical effort! 💪

Okay, nice all those results… but what does it really do?

For the most important stains; 32% better clean on grass and mud stains and 24% better on food stains.

On some other stains, like wine, G5 performs slightly less well. But because those aren't common stains (1% of respondents), we chose to focus mainly on the stains that do occur frequently. That seemed like the most logical choice to us. Of course we continue developing and we're already testing an update.

How to recognize G5:
Top right on the packaging you'll find a green dot with "G5".
The sheets are blue or white with brown spots — depending on the batch.

Test them yourself and please let us know what you think!

We compared G5 with more than 14 brands from Netherlands, Belgium and internationally - all tested under the same SGS conditions. During formulating we had one mission: make the best laundry strip based on real measurable performance. And we succeeded. G5 is the best laundry strip on the market. 🎉😊

Note: the scent of G5 may differ slightly from G4. We were able to bring the scent closer to the Spring Fresh scent booster.

Laundry Strips are detergent in convenient paper form: plastic-free*, vegan and largely biodegradable. No more lifting heavy bottles or mess from large packages. Simple, sustainable and effective.

What makes the 5th Generation unique? (June 2025)

  • Focus on stains that matter: Improved stain removal of grass, mud, and food stains
  • Less needed: More active ingredients, so less needed = more economical!
  • Four types of enzymes: Protease, Amylase, Lipase, Mannanase

    - Mannanase Enzyme that breaks down plant-based stains (like mud, grass, vegetables). Enzymatically active at low temperature. Biodegradable.
    - Amylase Breaks down starch from stains like pasta, rice or sauces. Supports deep cleaning. Biodegradable.
    - Protease Enzyme that breaks down protein stains (like blood, dairy or egg). Significantly increases washing power. Biodegradable.
    - Lipase Enzyme that breaks down fats and oily stains. Works powerfully even at low wash temperatures. Biodegradable and mild for the environment.
    - Cellulase Enzyme that cares for cellulose fibers by removing small fiber pieces that can cause a dull haze. This keeps colors fresh longer and makes laundry look new longer. Biodegradable.

Why choose laundry strips?

  • Universal: Suitable for white, color and black laundry
  • 5-in-1: Color, white, black, fabric softener and scent in one. For wool, silk and delicate fabrics, choose Laundry Strips for wool and silk.
  • Best price/quality in the market with 5 powerful enzymes against stains. From 14 cents per wash without offers.
  • Best tested and recommended by certified Skin Therapist SPROET and dermatologically tested
  • Suitable for all temperatures (15°-90°) and even hand washing.
  • Plastic-free packaging*, free from aggressive harmful substances like parabens and phosphates, chlorine bleaches, dyes and aggressive chemicals.

How does it work?

  1. Place the strip at the bottom of the drum or drawer.
  2. Place your laundry on top of the strip and keep a fist's space between laundry and top of drum.
  3. Start your wash program.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Stains? Rub a piece of strip with water directly on the stain for extra results
  • Not suitable for wool and silk. Use Cosmeau Wool & Silk for that
  • Doesn't dissolve completely? Falls unfortunately or not enough water due to overfull drum. Keep a fist's space between laundry and top of drum or dose via drawer. Strips dissolve from 15 degrees
  • Little scent? Wash at a lower temperature 30-40 degrees, hang to dry. Rub after laundry is dry for subtle scent. Add scent boosters for a stronger scent

Ingredients
Polyvinyl alcohol, Sodium dodecyl sulphate, Sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, Kaolin, Trisodium citrate, Alcohols C12-14 ethoxylated, Glycerin, Tetrasodium glutamate diacetate, Glyceryl cocoate, Hexylene glycol, Fragrance, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Camellia japonica flower extract, Mannanase, Amylase, Protease, Cellulase, Lipase. Allergies: Limonene in all scents except Lavender.

Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA)
A water-soluble synthetic polymer that serves as binding agent and carrier material. It ensures that the laundry strip maintains its solid form and dissolves during the washing process. Largely biodegradable*.

Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate (SDS)
A powerful anionic surfactant that loosens dirt and grease from textile fibers. Provides effective cleaning and foam formation. Derived from fatty acids, but synthetically produced. Biodegradable, not harmful to aquatic organisms at low concentrations.

Aqua
Serves as solvent in the formulation process. Neutral and without environmental burden.

Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate
A powerful anionic cleaner that helps remove stubborn dirt. Provides foam and cleaning power, even in cold water. Well biodegradable, with low impact on aquatic life.

Kaolin
A natural clay mineral that works as absorbent filler. It helps structure the laundry strip and supports removing oily stains. Environmentally friendly and inert.

Trisodium Citrate
Functions as water softener and 'builder'. Neutralizes calcium and magnesium in hard water, which improves the effectiveness of other washing active substances. Plant-derived and biodegradable.

Alcohols, C12-14, Ethoxylated
Non-ionic surfactant that helps remove fats and oily stains. Works well in combination with enzymes. Less biodegradable, not toxic to aquatic organisms in low concentrations.

Glycerin
A natural moisturizer that prevents the strips from drying out. Also skin-friendly. Derived from plant oils, fully biodegradable.

Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate
An environmentally friendly alternative to EDTA. Binds metal ions (like lime) so surfactants can do their work better. Biodegradable and safe for aquatic organisms.

Glyceryl Cocoate
Derived from coconut oil and glycerine. Works as skin softener and mild foam enhancer. Biodegradable and skin-friendly.

Hexylene Glycol
A solvent and fragrance fixative that helps distribute active substances and perfume. Moderately biodegradable, low ecotoxicity.

Fragrance
Provides pleasant scent. The exact scent and intensity can vary, but the goal is to make laundry smell fresher. Biodegradability differs per scent and component.

Dimethicone
A silicone compound that controls foam formation and makes textiles softer. Not biodegradable, but not toxic in low concentrations.

Phenoxyethanol
A preservative that prevents growth of bacteria and fungi in the product. Moderately biodegradable, with slight impact on aquatic environment.

Camellia Japonica Flower Extract
A plant extract with caring properties. Added for mild skin-friendliness. Environmentally friendly.

Mannanase
Enzyme that breaks down plant-based stains (like mud, grass, vegetables). Enzymatically active at low temperature. Biodegradable.

Amylase
Breaks down starch from stains like pasta, rice or sauces. Supports deep cleaning. Biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

Protease
Enzyme that breaks down protein stains (like blood, dairy or egg). Significantly increases washing power. Biodegradable.

Lipase
Enzyme that breaks down fats and oily stains. Works powerfully even at low wash temperatures. Biodegradable and mild for the environment.

Cellulase
An enzyme that cares for cellulose fibers by removing small fiber pieces that can cause a dull haze. This keeps colors fresh longer and makes laundry look new longer. Biodegradable.

Warnings
As with any detergent, keep out of reach of children. Use only with dry hands. Causes eye irritation. Causes skin irritation. If in contact with eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: seek medical advice/help. Wash hands thoroughly after contact.

* The strips themselves are microplastic-free depending on the definition. PVA is approved by ECHA and is not seen as microplastic, but is by PlasticSoup Foundation. There are studies that PVA is biodegradable depending on brand and type. We possess certified biodegradability of PVA based on OECD-B301. Our packaging is plastic-free and FSC certified. Research is ongoing into cellulose-based carriers so we can avoid this gray area. Note: On packaging may still say "plastic free" because we are phasing out the old batch packaging. We replaced this in the newest batch with "plastic-free packaging"
