Is shaving with a safety razor better?
Yes. With a safety razor you experience less skin irritation, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs that often occur with cartridges or electric shavers. The main reason for this is that with a safety razor you only ever have one blade against your skin. It's actually quite simple, the fewer times you make contact with your skin with a blade, the happier it will be.

I thought more blades were always better?
A sharp and clean safety razor will cut the hair in one motion without catching or dragging hairs. The so-called lift-and-cut systems are actually not good at all, as this actually promotes hair ingrowth.

Is a safety razor dangerous?
It's still a razor-sharp object of course. With improper use you can cut your skin just like with any other razor. Thanks to the rounded half plate on the head, it's easy to find the right angle (optimal is 30°), and thus less dangerous. Do you have sensitive skin? Then this could cause skin irritation. How often can you use the blade of a safety razor?
This depends on the type of hair, how often you shave, coating of the blades, and yes also shaving technique. Hardened blades of for example platinum or chromium, ensure that the blades last longer. Our blades are platinum hardened.

Depending on various factors as mentioned above you can get approximately 3-6 shaves from one blade.

Can I shave all body parts with this?
Yes. I do recommend starting with the easier parts like the legs. As you gain more experience you can move on to other body parts.

Can I use the razor in the shower?
Absolutely. Just be careful that the razor doesn't slip from your hands, despite the extra grip we've laser-etched on the handle. If dropped, the head can break off.
