Is shaving with a safety razor better?
Yes. With a safety razor, you experience less skin irritation, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs, which often occur with cartridge or electric razors. The main reason is that with a safety razor, you only have one blade against your skin. It’s quite simple: the less often a blade contacts your skin, the happier your skin will be.

I thought more blades were always better?
A sharp and clean safety razor blade will cut hair in one stroke without catching or pulling hairs. The so-called lift-and-cut systems are actually not good, as they promote ingrown hairs.

Is a safety razor dangerous?
It is, of course, a very sharp object. If used incorrectly, you can cut your skin just like with any other razor. This depends on hair type, shaving frequency, blade coating, and shaving technique. Hardened blades, for example platinum or chromium coated, last longer. Our blades are platinum hardened.

Depending on various factors mentioned above, you can get approximately 3-6 shaves per blade.

Can I shave all body parts with this?
Yes. We recommend starting with easier areas like legs. As you gain experience, you can move on to other body parts.

Can I use the razor in the shower?
Absolutely. Just be careful the razor doesn’t slip from your hands, despite the extra grip we laser-engraved on the handle. If dropped, the head can break.
