In a handy bottle with a pump, in fun colours in your favourite Cosmeau scents! The more affordable refill is sold separately in a bag, allowing you to refill your dispenser twice.
Our scent pearls perform less well at high temperatures or if they have been in the dryer.
Wasparfum performs better than scent pearls at high temperatures, so your laundry or towels washed at 95 degrees will still smell wonderful.
Furthermore, all our scents contain no carcinogenic substances at the oil level (GHS08). This is not a given and does not always have to be indicated with a hazard symbol below a certain level. Additionally, all our scents are phthalate-free. With Cosmeau, you can be sure our scents do not harm your health.

How does it work?
- Remove the safety seal from the dosing pump
- Add 2-10 pumps to your fabric softener compartment for a 4-6kg wash
- Test how many pumps you need to find your preferred intensity
- Always replace the safety seal on the bottle after use
- To refill, unscrew the cap of the refill and the pump from the bottle
- Hold the bag and bottle at an angle and pour slowly. Use a funnel if needed
- Clean the funnel thoroughly after use. We do not recommend using the funnel for food contact
- Store your bottle and refill in a dry, dark place out of reach of children

Note: Compared to our scent pearls, our wasparfum carries an additional hazard symbol, the dead fish. No worries, this is mandatory because it is a concentrated product. It is not intended to dump the full bottle into nature. Since the dosage per wash is safe and also diluted by water, this poses no problem for aquatic life.
I have an auto-dose washing machine, can I use this wasparfum as a fabric softener replacement?
With auto-dose machines, you can dilute the wasparfum so the machine can dose more accurately.
1 part wasparfum : 1 part water (50/50).
Important to know:
- Preferably use demineralised or boiled and cooled water to maintain stability and scent.
- Shake or mix well before use.
- Do not overfill the auto-dose reservoir and clean it regularly to prevent scent mixing or residue.
Are these scents 100% natural?
Our scents contain both natural and carefully selected synthetic fragrance ingredients. We do this deliberately. The right synthetic ingredients are not necessarily worse for health; often quite the opposite. They are pure, stable and well researched, so their effects and safety are well known. Unlike many natural extracts, they have a consistent composition, oxidise less quickly and often contain fewer allergens. This makes it possible to use the scent safely, maintaining scent quality and performance. All our fragrance ingredients comply with current IFRA and EU regulations. This way we combine the best of both worlds: a pleasant, long-lasting scent and a responsible choice for people and the environment.
Are synthetic ingredients less biodegradable?
Our scents are not automatically less biodegradable because they are partly synthetic. Biodegradability depends on the substance itself, not whether it is natural or synthetic. Many modern synthetic fragrance ingredients are well researched and designed to break down better and more predictably than some natural extracts.
What does this mean for the environment?
We do not use outdated or highly persistent fragrance ingredients. During washing and in water treatment, fragrance ingredients are heavily diluted and largely broken down. Additionally, our scents comply with all applicable European regulations. Our suppliers are all European fragrance manufacturers producing according to our standards, which are stricter than industry norms.
Why don’t you choose only natural scents?
Fully natural scents are not automatically better for people or the environment. They can contain more allergens and are less stable. By combining natural and synthetic fragrance ingredients, we can offer a safe, pleasant scent with minimal impact.

Onze unieke geurcomposities worden ontwikkeld met gespecialiseerde geurleveranciers binnen de EU. Zij formuleren voor de Europese markt en volgens de toepasselijke Europese regels.
Daar bovenop hanteren wij een eigen, strengere leveranciersbriefing: op ingrediëntniveau accepteren wij geen grondstoffen met een GHS08-classificatie. Daarnaast sluiten we ingrediënten uit die binnen onze interne veiligheidsbeoordeling als hormoonverstorend worden aangemerkt.

Hoe gebruik ik de vloeibare wasparfum?
Gebruik 2–10 pompjes voor een was van 4–6 kg en doseer rechtstreeks in het wasverzachterbakje. Kies minder pompjes voor een subtiele geur of meer voor extra intensiteit.
Kan ik het samen met wasverzachter gebruiken?
Dat kan, maar het hoeft niet. Wasparfum geeft al langdurige frisheid, dus je kunt de wasverzachter gerust laten staan.
