Laundry Strips is detergent in paper form. A cheap and environmentally friendly way to do your laundry. Plastic-free packaging* and vegan. No more lifting heavy bottles or full cabinets from large pod boxes. Our highly concentrated plant-based formula is gentle, dissolves in warm and cold water, and ensures clean fresh laundry.

New in August 2024: The latest formula 4th Generation the only real universal laundry strip on the market. Because laundry strips contain less aggressive chemicals, they are naturally universally suitable for colored, black and white laundry. In our 4th generation, Cellulase has been added. This is an enzyme that effectively localizes and removes dirt particles, making the "haze" disappear. And a second type of Cellulase focuses on protecting colors.

Additionally, in the 4th generation the scent has been improved through our dual fragrance technique. By combining free perfumes with our microcapsules, we have improved the scent both short-term and long-term.

As the final improvement in this formula, we have made the washing power more effective under hard water conditions. Hard water causes washing power to decrease, by adding an ingredient that works better under hard water conditions, you simply need less. That's directly more economical for you!

The laundry sheets have a subtle fresh scent. Note: Our scent technique is different and based on friction. After washing you won't smell anything. Wait until your laundry is dry and then rub the clothing against each other to release the scent. This way you enjoy the scent longer as you walk and move.

How does it work?

• Tear off the strip along the perforated line
• Place half under or on your laundry in the drum or in the drawer
• Start your wash program

Dosage
Half a wash sheet equals one wash. With 60 wash sheets enough for 120 washes!

Use half a strip for: 5kg laundry, normal to dirty laundry, and normal water
Use a whole strip for: up to 10kg laundry, very dirty laundry, or hard water

Color and suitability
Not suitable for wool and silk. Use Cosmeau Wool & Silk for this.

Black and white laundry strips
After each wash, the fibers of your clothing fall and get damaged. Dirt adheres better to these fibers because they become rough. This creates an extra layer that makes your laundry look gray. Cellulase is an enzyme and can effectively localize and remove these particles. This makes the fibers "smoother" again and makes colors look better again.

Another type of cellulase protects the colors. Here too, colored cotton fabrics become dull and grayish. The fibers and the dirt that adheres mask the brightness of the colors.

Our laundry strips for white and black laundry therefore contain 2 types of cellulase and a small amount of optical brightener to keep your laundry white/colored/black longer.

How strong is the scent after washing?
Laundry sheets don't have as strong a scent as pods, for example. One strip is about 4 grams, a pod easily 25 grams. Due to more chemicals and a heavier product, it's not possible to leave behind as much scent as a pod.

Additionally, scent works slightly differently with a laundry strip. Directly after washing you will barely smell the scent. Through friction, such as walking and running, the micro-scent capsules break loose and a light subtle scent will emerge. Want a scent boost for up to 3 months? Is there fabric softener in the laundry strip?
No. The comparison we make with fabric softener is purely that you no longer need fabric softener for softness. Fewer chemicals in the laundry strips ensure that your laundry becomes softer than with traditional detergent.

Besides doing social good, we are also working on production in the Netherlands of the laundry strips. We have worked hard on this for a year and a half and have finally found the location to start production in 2024.

* The strips themselves are microplastic-free depending on the definition. PVA is approved by ECHA and is not considered microplastic, but is by PlasticSoup Foundation. There are studies that PVA is biodegradable depending on brand and type. We have certified biodegradability of PVA based on OECD-B301. Our packaging is plastic-free and FSC certified. Research is ongoing into cellulose-based carriers so we can avoid this gray area. Note: The packaging may still say "plastic free" because we are phasing out the old batch packaging. We have replaced this in the newest batch with "plastic-free packaging"
