🔍 How to really clean the rubber seal of your washing machine:
1. Pre-rinse with warm water and soap
• Make a suds mix of warm water and washing-up liquid.
• Carefully pull the rubber seal open with your fingers.
• Use a microfibre cloth or old toothbrush to loosen dirt.
• Wipe everything well with a clean cloth.
2. Use a deep-clean tablet
• Then run an empty boil wash at 90–95°C with our deep-clean tablet in the drum.
• This cleans the inside of pipes, the tub and also helps loosen leftover residue in the rubbers.
3. Aftercare
• After the hot cycle, carefully pull the rubber seal open again.
• Remove loosened dirt with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
• Do not use vinegar or baking soda on the rubbers, unless the manufacturer of your washing machine expressly allows this.
4. Prevention is better
• Leave the door and the detergent drawer ajar after washing.
• Wipe the rubber seal dry after every wash.
• Once a month do a deep clean with one washing machine deep-clean tablet.
That's it 🙌
